For Your Grade for This Rotation
· Be in class, and be on task in class!
· Read during Individual Reading Time, and keep up with your reading log. (Record the information about when and what and how long you’ve read every class time.)
· Keep up with your partner fluency graph. (Record the date, passage number or letters, and your words per minute after each time you read.)
· Complete make-up homework if you are absent or off-task in class.
· Create a neat and complete BICUM Brochure.
· Be able to show you can use the strategies from your brochure when reading.
· Use the strategies for retaining information to memorize the assigned sets of information.
Complete and hand in the Internet assignment.

We will learn specific strategies you can use before, during, and after reading to learn. These strategies, and the skills we practice will help you comprehend and remember what you read.

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be Tuesday, February 13, 2016, from 3:30 PM – 8:00 PM.
If you wish to meet with Ms. Dorsey, I stay at the school almost every day Tues-Friday until at least 4 pm. For a before-school meeting, please arrange that ahead since we teachers are often out of the classroom preparing materials for the day.
