Read for pleasure.

Practice strategies to use during reading and after reading.


Today’s  Agenda:

1. Individual Reading  

2. Partner Fluency Practice --  with new partners and new passages

3. What to do with unfamiliar words.
      Using the dictionary -- Complete an exercise.

If you did not find a word, select one of these words.  

1. If you are on the first row of the classroom, use 
    bilk, assuage, or chiropteran.

2. If you are on the second row of the classroom, use 
arrogate, nuncupative, or superfluous.

3. If you are on the third row, use
adz, wax, or haulm.

4. If you are on the fourth row, use 
acerbic, transient, or tergiversate.
