Announcements and Reminders: This is your brain on books! Today is our Readathon! If you want to bring treats, don't forget!  Hand in your BICUM Brochure if you haven't.   You will leave your folders in the black crate.  Ms. Dorsey will pass them to Mr. Gillis.  Next time you will go to Ms. Fugal's classroom.             →     →  →

Targets for Today: I will show what I know!     I know how to use memory and study aids to learn a set of facts.     I know strategies that I can use before, during, and after reading.

Today’s  Agenda: 1. Hand in your BICUM Brochure if you haven't. Hand it in to the top wire basket for your class. (If not finished, at home see the tab above for the BICUM Brochure.)    Put away all materials except a pencil or pen.  2. Take the BICUM test and take the First Ten Amendments test. READATHON!   This is a readathon, not a talkathon.  You may sit ALMOST anywhere you want -- including sitting on the floor,    however, the teacher reserves the right to place you in a seat of his choosing     if you are not on task -- reading!  You may read your choice of materials.  Enjoy treats, but be careful not to make a mess, and do clean up after yourself.

If You Were Absent: See Ms. Dorsey to take the tests, and I will pass the grade on to Ms. Fugal.
