Targets for Today:
I can use strategies to be more effective when I do study-reading.
I can determine whether a site or other source of information is useful and reliable.

Today’s  Agenda for Wednesday, January 9, 2019:

Pick up your folders from the black crate at the back.
Pick up a handout from a desk at the front of the room.

Today will be different:  We will begin by looking at some strategies to use as you get ready to do study-reading.

Remember that
Metacognition is thinking about your own thinking.
It is taking a step back to look at that challenges a particular reading task presents,
and how you can best meet those challenges.
What strategies can you use to be successful?
