Qualities of Great Notes:
- They are interesting facts -- not just generalizations.
- For example, "Joe Pit was the greatest football player ever" is a generalization.
- How do you know he is?
- You'd need to use specific facts such as the number of Super Bowls he helped win, the records he broke, the awards he won, and so on.
- They are written in your own words. Make sure each is accurate.
- They can be just words or phrases as long as you can look back at them and clearly remember the fact.
- You will most likely take the most notes on your first article, then carefully read your other articles for additional facts and insights.
- If you cannot find three articles total with Bio. Ref. Center and the encyclopedia and databases through Pioneer, talk with me about possibly using a source that you could google. (We'll need to make sure it is a reliable and useful source.)
