Announcements and Reminders:

Reading Log and Fluency checks will be today.

You have until October 20 to finish handing in the computer lab exercises:
  • Lewis and Clark -- Reliability and Using a Database -- Due 10-7-15 explorers site & BRC.docx
  • Plagiarism  -- Due 10-9-15
  • Wikipedia  --  Due 10-20-15
Now that we have had 3 days in the computer lab, you will complete them as homework.


                                                                 


There is  a late bus available after school on Tuesday 
    through Thursday for students who wish to stay after to work
    on their grades.  It leaves at 4 pm and drops off students 
     at the elementary schools nearest their homes.


If you wish to order books from Scholastic, 
the book orders will be due  by 
Wednesday, October 14th.



Targets for Today:
I will spend time reading something enjoyable. 
     I will work on improving my reading fluency.
     I will better understand how to find reliable sources when I do research.

Look at your handout/notes.
