Today’s Agenda:
1. Previewing Practice Reading to learn about finding useful and reliable sources a. Pick up one article from the front desk with the BICUM Previewing page. Complete the Preview for it, then b. Pick up the second article from Ms. Dorsey with another Previewing page, and complete the preview for it. c. When you finish both, and hand in the papers, go ahead and read your own book for INDIVIDUAL READING TIME. (Notice how long you get to read and record it on your log.) We will go to the Media Center for a presentation on a way to check for useful and reliable sources. Take a pencil or pen. Take your backpack since we will not return to class. You will be tested later on what the letters in the CRAAP test stand for, so pay close attention. If you have the opportunity to take notes, do it! |
