Dreaming of Spring! 

Announcements and Reminders:
          
 Time Change - March 12.  Spring Forward and set your clocks forward 1 hour on Saturday night.
March 15 -- All Seventh Graders will be Job Shadowing, so not at school. 

    If you are absent, remember to pick up a pink make-up sheet, complete the 20 minutes of reading for each day missed, fill out the log for that day, and get a parent signature.   

The last day to hand in late work, revised work, and extra credit -- except your hall passes -- is Friday, March 10.    

If you did not finish the Internet packet we worked on in class, finish it on your own by Friday.    
Notice that if you forget or lose your assignment pages, you can print them at home from Skyward.

Today’s  Agenda:

Pick up your folder and a book to read.

1.  "Fieldtrip" to the Media Center.  Take a pen or pencil.  Leave your backpack behind.  You will learn about the CRAAP Test to check the usefulness and reliability of an Internet site.  

⇉ ⇉  Plan to memorize  the parts of the CRAAP Test   Be able to explain each part of the mnemonic. 

Take a pencil or pen.
Leave your backpack, etc. 

You will pick up a green sheet, a bookmark, and a Chromebook (which you will sing out). 

Mrs. Jones is going to present to us, so be respectful and attentive.






When reading to learn, we need to determine 
if what we're reading is 
USEFUL  and RELIABLE.

2. Fluency Practice with the Poem on the other side of the sheet you already have -- 
The "passage number"  is TOTF.  Record your turns on your graph.  

3.  Individual Reading and fill out your Reading Log.
