Announcements and Reminders for Thursday, April 26, 2018:
Class A4, hand in your inference assignment. Find it here:
A4 Only Inference Assignment Begin with quiet reading. |
Targets for Today:
I understand steps I can take to make sure the sources (especially online sources) that I use for information are both useful and reliable (trustworthy).
I can improve my fluency by better understanding my own reading habits, and by practicing! (If time) I can read quietly for an extended time -- hopefully enjoying it! |
Today’s Agenda for Thursday, April 26, 2018:
A4 needs to hand in the inference assignment. 1. Pick up your folder and a book to read. Read quietly.
2. Go to the Media Center (QUIETLY!) to learn about finding useful and reliable sources.
Take a pen or pencil. I. Is it useful?
2. Is it reliable?
3. Partner fluency practice -- A3 did, but A4 did not do fluency practice.
4. Individual, quiet reading time, if more time. Whether or not we read again, fill out your reading log for today -- for the reading we did at the beginning of class. Give yourself 10 minutes.
Don't forget to hand in your inference assignment. |
