April 14, 2016 -- Bring reading materials, a pillow to sit on,
and treats if you wish!




Targets for Today:



  • I read for enjoyment, and add to a record of my reading.
  • I can read aloud fluently.
  • I will understand better how to use skills and strategies to improve my ability to read effectively.
  • I can show what I've learned by using reading strategies.




  • Today’s  Agenda:

    1. Individual Reading and fill out your reading log

           Make sure you're filling out your log!

    For today you may study for the test during reading time.  

    On your log record:

    April 1, 2016   Other   Study for Map Test    (time spent) 
         


    2. Partner Fluency Practice and fill out your graph
           Make sure you are filling out your graph each time you read.

    Receive a new passage today.

     Find the passage number in the upper right hand corner of the page. 


    3. Finish up your mind map.   Spend a few minutes to prepare for the test.

    4. Hand in your mind map. Number your facts first.

    5.  Take the test -- recreate your mind map.  


    Number your facts before you hand it in.
