Announcements and Reminders:
                                                                 
Tuesday, March 8 is request day for Cavetime. 

Wednesday will be  regular Cavetime. 

There will be no Cavetime in Mrs. Dorsey's classroom on Thursday and Friday, March 10 and 11. 

 Friday is the last day to hand in extra credit, late work, and revisions for Ms. Dorsey's assignments. 

 If you are not down to the last page (front and back) in your computer/internet packet, you will want to take your packet home to catch up. 
We will not go into the lab again until Monday. 

Targets for Today:
  • I read for enjoyment, and add to a record of my reading.
  • I can read aloud fluently.
  • I will understand better how to find useful, reliable information on the Internet. 
  
Today’s  Agenda:
1. Individual Reading and fill out your reading log

2. Partner Fluency Practice and fill out your graph

3. Computer Lab 224  to continue work on the internet/computer packet

Bring your headphones, a pen or pencil, and your packet.
You will sit at the computer that matches your folder number. 

Computer Lab


  • Learn about plagiarism and how to avoid it.  It is NOT a good thing.
  • Practice applying the CRAAP test.
  • Learn about why we do NOT use Wikipedia for research projects -- at least not as a formal source.  
  • Practice using some useful and reliable sources.

You will have two times in class to work on your packet, then it will become homework.
