Announcements and Reminders:
If you have your disclosure signatures and reading strategies assessment to hand in today, please turn it in to the top wire basket.

Targets for Today:
I will read for enjoyment, and add to a record of my reading.
I can read aloud fluently.
I can learn strategies I can use to comprehend (understand) what I read, and to remember it.
I can successfully do online research, recognizing useful and reliable sources.

Today’s  Agenda:
Pick up folder.
Hand in Disclosure signatures with strategies pre-assessment filled out.

1. Individual reading and FILL OUT YOUR READING LOG. (Make sure you name is on your log.)
(San Diego Quick Test:  Students will go out into the hall one at a time with the teacher to take a very quick reading test.   Don't be nervous, I'm just looking at how you read, and you get the points just for doing it.)

2. Partner Fluency Practice -- Fill out your graph.  (Make sure you name is on your graph.)

3. Finish your Inner Voice Graphic Organizer.

4. Media Center Presentation on Online Research
Mrs. Jones
Last 25-30 minutes of class:
A3:  about 12:50
A4:  about 2:15

Students turned in their notes on the presentation.

If You Were Absent:
See above.
Complete the make-up reading work, fill out the make-up log,  get a parent signature, and attach it to your blue reading log.

See Mrs. Jones -- Finding Trustworthy Sources
and take your own notes.  You need to understand what is meant by CRAAP and the 5 parts of the formula to find useful and reliable sources.
