Announcements and Reminders:
We have been having some problems with students leaving on the desks at the end of class the books they've borrowed from the shelves.  Those should be put away.
Also,  there have been other forms of mess left behind.
So, we are having a contest.  The class that leaves the room the tidiest will get an EXTRA treat from Ms. Dorsey at our READATHON.  I always bring one, but for the tidy class, I will bring two.
See the ongoing scores under the CONTEST tab above.  You are starting out with 75 points for each class.

Targets for Today:

I will read for enjoyment, and add to a record of my reading.
I can read aloud fluently.
I can successfully do online research, recognizing useful and reliable sources.
