Announcements and Reminders:



Today April  14 

Read-a-thon!  Bring treats, pillow to sit on, blanket,  if you wish.

 Make a note for yourself to bring treats!


                                                      

       Today is the last day of this rotation. Next time you will go to Mrs. Fugal's class.

If you still need to take the test, you may study during our reading time,and take the test during the Readathon.

Turn in any revised or missing work BEFORE the end of the rotation.

Targets for Today:


  • I read for enjoyment, and add to a record of my reading.
  • I can read aloud fluently.
  • I can read for extended periods of time:  I have increased my reading stamina this year!   



  • Today’s  Agenda:
    1. Short Individual Reading -- Fill out your reading log.
    2. Partner fluency practice -- fill out your graph

    3. Prepare your folders to be passed on to Mrs. Fugal.

    •          You will hand back in all fluency materials -- plastic covers and all passages.
      •          There will be a box at the front of the room to collect them. 
    •

    A4. Review the answers.
    A3. Hand it in to the top wire basket.

    Put your folders back into the hanging folders in the crate at the back of the room. 

    Don't forget to hand in your unused hall passes!


    4.  READATHON 
    Lots of time to read!   (Note:  It's not a talkathon!  Occasional, quiet interchanges are okay.) 
    You may sit where you wish!   Well, almost anywhere!


    If you have not taken your map test, 
    prepare to take it during the Readathon.
