There will be no reading time or fluency practice today. 

If you weren't here last time, work on filling out 
the strategies preassessment and the interest inventory.



Targets for Today:
  • I read for enjoyment, and add to a record of my reading.
  • I can read aloud fluently.
  • I can use the internet wisely and find reliable and useful sources. 



Today’s  Agenda:

Find your assigned seat.
Pick up your folder from the black crate at the back.

1. Fill out a computer use survey.  What sorts of things do YOU do on the computer and/or on the Internet? 

   2.  Special Guest:  Mrs. Jones from the Media Center.  
                 

   3. Computer/Internet Assignment 
  •         Receive your Computer Packets.  
  •         You will practice reading directions as well as using the Internet. 
  •         Computer Lab 224 (English Writing Lab
      • Sit at your folder number!  The computer numbers are on the towers behind the monitors.

We did not do individual reading, so you do not have to do make-up reading.  If you did, that will count as extra credit!
