Announcements and Reminders:                                                                   There will be no reading time or fluency practice today.  If you weren't here last time, work on filling out  the strategies preassessment and the interest inventory.

Targets for Today: I read for enjoyment, and add to a record of my reading. I can read aloud fluently. I can use the internet wisely and find reliable and useful sources.

Today’s  Agenda: Find your assigned seat. Pick up your folder from the black crate at the back. Notice the portion of the whiteboard for Reading 7. 1. Fill out a computer use survey.  What sorts of things do YOU do on the computer and/or on the Internet?     2.  Special Guest:  Mrs. Jones from the Media Center.                        3. Computer/Internet Assignment          Receive your Computer Packets.           You will practice reading directions as well as using the Internet.          Computer Lab 224 (English Writing Lab Sit at your folder number!  The computer numbers are on the towers behind the monitors.
