Tuesday is Tacky Tourist Tuesday.  Wednesday is Crazy Hat/Hair Day.  Thursday is Meme Day  Friday is Black Out Day.

Targets for Today: I can read quietly for an extended time -- hopefully enjoying it!  I can improve my fluency by better understanding my own reading habits, and by practicing!   I can learn about improving my reading by using metacognition.  Fix-Up Strategies

Add to your background knowledge!  You can do this before reading or during reading. Look it up on a reliable online site. Find a book for children on the topic.
