Announcements and Reminders:                  Term 3 ends March 18.  All late work, revisions, and extra credit should be turned in  by March 11.

Targets for Today: I read for enjoyment, and add to a record of my reading. I can read aloud fluently. I will understand better how to find useful, reliable information on the Internet.

Today’s  Agenda: Get Set: 1. Pick up your folder and a book to read until we leave for the media center. Make sure you have a book or something else to read.  You may read on your phone or iPad, but you must be reading, not doing other things.  2. Go:  Walk quietly to the media center. Mrs. Jones is going to teach us some information and strategies that will help with reading the Internet.                   Take a pencil.  Link to some of today's lesson: Mrs. Jones -- Finding Trustworthy Sources  You may also have a few minutes to look at the books. 3. Partner Fluency  Each partner gets a page protector and a copy of the passage to read. Put the passage into the page protector.  Follow directs for doing the timed readings.
