Announcements and Reminders:                                                                   Your computer lab packets were due last Wednesday.  Finish them as soon as possible and place them in the top wire basket. Don't forget to clean up after yourself -- for the contest and because you do the right thing. We have    6    more classes in this rotation including today.   Turn in any revised or missing work BEFORE the end of the rotation. Have your brochure ready to turn in.

Targets for Today: I read for enjoyment, and add to a record of my reading. I can read aloud fluently. I understand and can use skills and strategies to better comprehend and remember the information I learn by reading.

Today’s  Agenda: Pick up your folder. You have a new seating arrangement.  You are now sitting by your fluency practice partner. 1. Individual reading and FILL OUT YOUR READING LOG. (Make sure you name is on your log.) 2. Partner Fluency.  Use the passage you are assigned.  The passage number is in the upper right hand corner. 3. More BICUM!   One type of pattern is sequence!  How do I identify a text structure/pattern? What sorts of transitions am I seeing? What are the relationships among the ideas?
