Announcements and Reminders:                            Our Readathon will be TODAY,  Monday, November 14. Bring treats if you wish! Make sure to check whether you have any reading make-up to do.  Check your folder for the pink make-up sheet or pick one up from the hand-outs box.  It is due by November 11, but has been extended to today, November 14. If you are absent, do the make-up for the day/days you miss!  Plan to hand in unused hall passes on Monday (today).   Next time you will go to Mrs. Fugal's Classroom -- Room 204.  Bring along your cell phone or Kindle or other device that you use to read books.  Mrs. Jones is coming to do a presentation about Overdrive and other sources of books to read on your devices.

Targets for Today: I can read my book during a class read-a-thon! I can demonstrate my reading strategies in a Final Interview.

Today’s  Agenda: Hand in your hall passes. You will return the page protectors with your fluency passages in them. You will leave your folders in their places in the black crate.  We will pass them on to Ms. Fugal. Pick up a Final Interview Rubric. Now it's time to read!! You may sit wherever you like. Enjoy your snacks and your reading!! We'll call you one by one for the Final Interview. Bring your rubric with you when you come out to the hall. If we need a break... Remember this song?? If You Were Absent: Turn in your unused hall passes and your sheet protector with the fluency sheets in it. Find a time to have a Final Interview with Mrs. Mace or Ms. Dorsey.
